6 Black Astralorps, one sounds like a goose!

10 weeks old. 4 of them have bright combs and wattles. This is not any indication of sex correct? I was surprised the sound one of them was making very loud like a goose.

maybe a possible cockeral's practice crow? some crow that young, but ive never experienced it myself with any of my chicks.

one of my roosters just started crowing and at first he sounded sick,kind of like when you let air out of a balloon while you are streching the opening

2007's barred rocks all sounded like ducks for a couple of weeks, here. Then they switched to 'grownup' chicken sounds: 4 hens and 1 rooster. Maybe, its not a roo...
