Nava, I'd snatch those in a second if I didn't have such hooorrible luck with Turkens!

I love them soo much, but I've had 10 out of 10 die on me, and they seem to hate our constant 40-60 degree weather and nonstop rain, so. . . yeah. If I was gauranteed that breeder quality Turkens are much more hardy, I'd get 2 dozen or so

. . . But I really don't know. All I know is that my previous 10 were hatchery girls.

Those blues sure are beauts!

I would just like to give a plug to turken personality. I once had a pair who were beautifully feathered and had great personalities. Nice eggs also.

I have to agree on the Turken personality. Illia, Turkens are supposed to be cold-hearty. I have 4 Turken "mutts", and they did just fine over the winter here in PA. You should try again, Turkens rule!!!

ok i was hoping to have a lot more eggs like at least aDoz,but the girs did not help much but i did get more than 6 but if you like i can trow in there more eggs from other breeds let me know.

and we only got 45 min left.
