6 Chicken Eggs going in Tonight - And Hatching Buddie?

My button is 10 weeks old, and lays very dark brown speckled eggs. Nice hard thick shells. Scared the tar out of me when she popped her first three out in five minutes!!! I was worried she would do that the entire time!!!

I am so nervous I am sending my boyfriend to get a waterer for if/when the chicks hatch, and some mash.. Then we are getting bulbs.. Just finished my brooder... DX I am going to go nuts!!!

How often are the first laid eggs fertile??? The boing like rabbits(the quail), and it was a good 2 weeks after first mating before she laid them..
