6-day-old chicks not gaining much weight

chick starter feed (nonmedicated), with treats of dried mealworms, fresh oregano, and a little hard boiled egg

she is adding strange food, she is trying to find mites and lice, looking for bare spots, and she is going to wear them out.

what strange food?egg started an mealworm not strange!
what wrong with lookin for bugs!! chiks can get bugs jus like big ones how you wear out a chik?

Thanks for the advice everyone, it's good to learn all the ways people raise their chicks.

@casportpony, thanks so much for the charts - it's great to hear your experience. I didn't know some weight loss is expected - though it sounds like mine was still possibly below the norm.

The chicks all gained these last two days in a row and the Legbar seems back to her energetic self. They're all below average weight still, but since they're going in the right direction and picking up speed I'm not going to worry so much.

They're doing pretty well! They continued to gain weight at a reasonable pace until they got big enough that it was harder to weigh them and I stopped.

My only fear right now is that one will turn out to be a rooster
