Okay, me sweet little EE is feeling MUCH better!!
It has been 12 hours since she has had any chick starter, and her crop has gone down to the size of her brooder mates! YAY
She managed to rub all the feathers off te top of her crop when it was swollen, so she is starting to look like a turken!!
So, my question now, is ...How can I prevent her from becoming crop bound again? She is my 3 yr old DD's chick, so that made it all the worse that she was sick!!
I left her overnight with a dish of olive oil/yogurt mixture and water, but now I am scared to give her the crumbles again!!
