I'm treating my 7 5 week old chicks for cocci. They have had 6 days of Corid. The two who were most affected are more alert, eating, and drinking. However, several of the others who are not showing any puffing of feathers and are not lethargic are still having diarrhea. Clear liquid with mucus-y poop. They are getting 2 tsp. of Corid in water with electrolytes because they were so lethargic. I know you are supposed to reduce the dose for 2 weeks but should they still be showing such diarrhea? If not, what should i do to help them get rid of the diarrhea?
I've seen some people suggest oats, others say no supplements. I'm considering putting the powdered goats milk on their feed unless someone has something better.

The Corid is over. You don't continue Corid longer than you already have.
What are you feeding them on a daily basis? No to the electrolytes. as you can overdose them on that. Give them plain water and chick starter and no other stuff for awhile other than maybe a little plain active culture yogurt every couple of days for good gut bacteria.
Some are more affected than others and have more intestinal damage, which may be what you're seeing.

You can put a tablespoon of unfiltered Apple Cider vingar with "the mother" in it (sediment) in a gallon plastic waterer, which also is good for gut pH and digestion, plus has vitamins and minerals as well.
