Hi, I am looking forward to hatch day for tomorrow. Very nervous..need some hatch buddies. These are Araucanas, plus, I have 6 LF cochins in. The Araucana is a harder chick to hatch, they quit anytime, because of the last vertebrae missing in some of them..the rumpless. I want a tufted rumpless pretty bad. So, today, by late afternoon I would think I would start seeing some pips. I am soo excited..nervous like I said.
Anyone on this thread hatch these before? I can't wait to see them.
I see that everyone is close to hatching within the next couple of days.. I know I haven't been here all along..but can I join you for the end of all of this waiting? )

Mine are due to hatch on Saturday also, this is my first time incubating with a bator, last time I used a broody hen. Of 12 eggs 9 made it to lockdown....

Oh those false alarms, I'm watching for pips today. They will probably pip and hatch tonight while I'm sleeping.

Yeah i heard they like to hatch at night i am painting my nails so they can peck them when they hatch and dry off

Yes, they like that bright nail polish. Well, I have two pips, and, they are on my Aruacanas! Yaay.
I just may wake up to babies in the morning.
