6 Feb Hatch date (hopefully)

    Our first try. We are using eggs from black sexlinks, some heavy red breed, RIRXColumbian. We candled the eggs and out of 14 eggs set, 8 were fertile. Some were moving in the egg!
    We are using this first try as a test run for some eggs we will buy.
    The father would be this guy:

    Bought him last year at auction. Not sure what breed (s) he is..
    He is slightly smaller than a standard.

    We also have a bantam Golden Sebright.
    I am sure he is not the daddy, as he has a hard time reaching and getting the girls to stay still long enough to do the job.

    What a handsome roo. I have 9 eggs with a Feb 6 hatch date also. Good luck.
