My 6 hens are all just one year old. Production was going great, even all winter with between 4 and 6 eggs a day. About a month ago one Welsummer bantam went broody for a couple of weeks although I would regularly toss her out about 3 pm and close the pop door until right before dusk. It broke her. Now in the past week three have gone broody, a standard WPR, bantam EE and the other bantam Welsummer. I'm lucky to get 2 eggs a day. What can I do? They arent always even sitting on an egg. Keep tossing them out or does that mentally harm them? Thanks in advance!

It will not harm them to throw them out of the nest. You could sacrifice a few days worth of eggs and block off the nesting box and then three days after you block them off the brooding should stop.
