How do you guys put your eggs out for sale?

Thinking to revamp our driveway egg box situation and am curious as to what you guys have found works best for you to put out and sell your backyard eggs.

@2ndTink does. If I recall correctly, she has a cooler of some sort, but hopefully, in a couple of hours, she'll be up and able to explain.

Yep, I just use a regular old cooler and hang a sign, super simple.

We tried the cooler and a cash box last year, but it got too hot in the summer ( no shade)
The ice packs melted and made the egg cartons all soggy, so we switched to plastic cartons, but can't stamp them properly for NY standards. To try to make some shade for the cooler, we put out an umbrella in a stand and it kept blowing over, then flat out snapped in half
I'm thinking now to maybe try a mini fridge an extension chord and an outdoor storage box to keep the fridge out of the weather.
Just curious what other people do.

If you don’t wash the eggs, they don’t need to be refrigerated. They have a protective barrier called the bloom, which keeps bacteria out.

But when is hot too hot even with the bloom?

I'm not sure how hot is too hot, but I know exactly whay you mean, there is no WY to leave eggs out all day in a cooler, ice pack or not. I had the same thing, you use an ice pack and get soggy cartons, no ice pack and it feels like they're getting poached in there.

I just put mine out in the evening but, it would be nice if you could do all day. The fridge isn't a bad idea but that adds cost.

I just inherited three additional chickens, so we have eggs galore. I have considered selling them, too. How much are y'all charging?

To hot would be upper eighties. Most are not fond of finding a chick starting in a egg they are about to fry.
Wish I could do the road side stand, but a dead end road doesn't get many customers.
