I have a quail hen about 6 months old (I got her in April earlier this year) who was healthy and fine until two days ago. We kept her along with three other quails out in the coop until the past weekend when we put them in the cage inside our garage due to forecasted rain. Out of the blue about two days ago she started having trouble staying balanced and having motor control of her legs. Now she’s just flopping in her left, right, and front and also can’t seem to stand upright anymore. She resorts to leaning on her side and when she tries walking she fumbles all over. (I have three pictures for reference below the text). We’re not sure if this is a neurological issue or if her legs are injured. She doesn’t appear to have any external wounds or bumble foot and otherwise seems healthy. She still tries to eat though decreasingly recently. We directly fed her vitamin B-12 but no improvement at all. Now she’s seems to be taking deep breaths signifying she most likely won’t make it :( Could anyone tell me a possible cause to this and if there’s any other way to help her? Thanks!! Have a great day/evening/night.

That could be possible… the indoor cage is a bit smaller than we prefer for four quails. We usually feed our birds dove & quail feed along with mealworms and eggshells for calcium
