6 months old and no eggs yet!

I am so frustrated my SLW pullets are 6 months old (going on 7) and not laying yet. Last year my BR laid at 5 months...

Is this normal for SLW? They are squatting some... but no eggs. I have looked all over in case they're hiding them and no luck.

some chickens can be late bloomers and some ca be early bloomers. you just have to be patient and let nature take its course.

I have a 10 month old Ameraucana that has yet to lay an egg.

I'm wondering now if she ever will.

My heavy breeds didn't start laying until nearly 8 months....squatting is a good sign that they are not far away
