6 new chicks!

Well, I had to run to the store today to pick up some 2x4s to help me finish the coop. Well, the farm store across the street had a sign up that said they had their chicks in. Thought I would just stop in and see what they had!

Well, they had Silver Laced Wyandottes and Welsummers, both breeds I've been looking for. I came home with 3 each.

Your farm store has Welsummers? I wish mine had those. I really want some dark egg layers... Maybe next year TSC or Orshelns will have them.

Our feed store regularly has Wellsummers. I guess I'll have to get one or two eventually.
