6" of snow over night. Guess the girls will probably sat in today.
I however have to go clear some fallen trees. Ugg!

I usually give mine the option of whether they want to go out in snow or not. Mine free range (no fences) If grass is showing through, they usually get out in it. I have a few that wander over to check out the compost heap no matter how deep the snow. I have some that won't go near that white stuff. Recently I had one calmly standing in about 2" of ice-cold snowmelt water, pecking at something underwater.

Do as you wish. We all have different circumstances so the same answer is not always right for all of us.
