6 one week old ladies 2 questions

hello

I have six 1 week old ladies (4 BR, 2 RIR) they are watering fine and they find the feeder just fine also, well heres the question,

1. I was going to remove the paper towel tonight from the brooder and just use chips
is this right timing?

2. they are on purina start & grow (medicated) do they need grit? or when if so when to start it, i know once they start going out and free ranging i have to offer it. do they need it sooner?

Yep, you can take the paper away now. As for grit, if you don't give treats, you don't need to add grit. If they are free ranging and have access to dirt, they also don't need grit. Have fun!
