I thought she was a female,until the hooting started,which sounds a bit like crowing,a month ago.”Hoo...hoo” she arches and everything.When stressed left alone,only once or twice then she clucks,until her friend comes.maybe because she’s semi blind.
but,like I said,I have 3 yr.old hen,crows when alone only,as well.They’ve never seen a male.
the breeder said they are harder because they mature very late,when you think there done.
