6 down, leaving me with 17 adults (5 boys) 8 teenagers (7 boys) and 6 chicks (looks like 5 boys).
This group of cockerels has been so well behaved, you would think they knew the consequences if they acted up. So only 6 this time.
One might have had a dangerous genetic recessive. Both his parents had it.
Two were not being polite to the hens.
Three were attacking me.
The next batch will also be chosen on the basis of behavior, and if there aren't enough I'll go to foraging ability.
The following weights are fully processed and skinned so they are probably lower than another bird that has just been plucked.
