Ok, let me start by saying this will be a new learning curve for me! LOL
But I'll do my darndest!
I had a neighbor call me Sunday asking if I wanted to try incubating some duck eggs, as she donated my first chicken eggs to try out my new bator. I said sure why not! So what do I need to know other than:
Humidity 70-80% More on last 3 days
99.5 degrees (like chickens)
25-30 days to hatch
day 25 stop turning
{What is and do I have to mist once a day? With warm water? Everyday from day 1 on?}
Brooding:
Ducklings need a deeper water dish
What about feed? Chick starter OK? Medicated?
Is there a STICKY anywhere for Duck incubation? I couldn't find one....I looked in the Waterfowl forum.
BTW These ducklings will go back to donater after brooding, she want's more ducks! LOL
Thanks to anyone who posts with some answers, I REALLY appreciate it!
