These eggs are from a pen containing 1 black, 1 blue, and 1 splash hens with 1 grey splash and 1 black roosters. Fertility has been excellent and I've hatched several clutches from this pen already...I just had 12 chicks to hatch this morning. I will ship the freshest eggs available, and they will be shipped tomorrow (Monday)...this is a 24 hour auction. I know the eggs are fertile and viable, but once they leave my hands, I am not responsible for your hatch...there's just too many variables involved with shipped eggs.

I know this has nothing to do with the silkies. But, you sent me 6 bantam cochin eggs and I have 5 beautiful chicks in the inucbator drying off and 1 more egg with a pip in it! How's that for shipped eggs!!! That's 100% on shipped eggs! Thank you so much.

Now, a question about these silkies: What color chicks have you been getting?

I'm so happy that you have some of those cute chicks of your own now!

I've been hatching here for a month now, so I already knew how darling they are.

Now...as for these particular Silkie eggs. I haven't hatched any chicks from JUST these hens. I did have 2 more black and 1 more blue hen in with this group, but those 3 hens went broody...2 of which hatched their clutches today.

So honestly, I don't know what will hatch from these eggs. When all of my hens were in the pen with these 2 roosters, I hatched blue, black, grey, and what I call grey splash (like my rooster) chicks.

Will you ever be down in the lansing area?

Bummer I can't attend this year because of the swap in Eaton County.

Though I'm wondering if I could hit both...hmmmm I will have to see
