6 Solid BLUE marans eggs

My blue/black/splash marans are starting to lay.
So I am offering 6 eggs, but will ship 3-4 extras if possible.
My line of solid blues last year were my best yet.

Here is a 1 year old hen with exceptional lacing.

This is a 2010 cockerel. He is awesome!! The birds I use for breeding have heavily feathered legs.... once in a while I hatch a clean legged bird (like this guy... hes still awesome though!)

Is the pic of eggs what they normally lay? I know they are darker when they first start.

That photo of the eggs is from last summer, but my birds are the same and the eggs should be the same this year.

I took this photo last week of a pullet egg..... You might get some that are this dark

) (it is still in my fridge LOL its so pretty I dont want to eat it!)

Will the eggs be a splash/black cross?? Is that why it says Solid blue?

The chicks from these eggs will potentially be blue, black, and splash.

Read up on the blue genetics in poultry, it will explain why you get 3 different colors.

yep- the only way you can guarantee blue is breed black to splash.

My pen consists of blue black and splash birds..... I know 2 splash hens are laying now... and possibly a dark blue hen.
The roosters are blue and black.

I have another pen that is not laying yet, one black roo with 3 black hens.... for pure black birds.
