We are offerring the eggs to introduce the polyfoam for shipping eggs. Spring is right around the corner, it's time to get ready to stock up the foam for shipping your beautiful eggs, and those polyfoam can save you time, it's also re-usabe.

We will be sending either the showgirl or silkie eggs depending on who lays. As for silkie, they will be from our 4 pen, B/B/S, Buff/Isabel/Porcelian, white and partridge.
Showgirl are all in the same pen this time of the year, you'll be getting all sort of the colors.
Winner will receive 4 polyfoam alone with the 6 eggs.

Polyfoam - This is reverlutionary way for packing and shipping eggs. If you see it, you'll appreciate how easy and painless the polyfoam can do for you, and the best part is - it save you time and money.
We used to spend good 20 minutes with packing/wrapping stuff every where in the room, now it only takes 3 minutes. No longer need to keep all those paper & bouble wraps and God knows what else.
Each polyfoam hols 6 eggs small to large chicken/duck eggs, can also be use for double stack for bantom/silkie eggs.
Each foam is 7 X 6 X 3.5(thick). two of them fits perfectly in 7X7x6 USPS shipping box. No more flate rate medium boxes, your saving on postage will pay for the foam it self. And if you ship with one foam, you are saving money on shipping for sure. The foam have space for eggs to breath, well protected and insulated. It does not leave any loose particles, very clean to handle and easy. We design it to fit into 7X7X6 box. But if you need to ship 24 eggs, 4 foam fit nicely in USPS 12X12X8 box, cost average about $12/$13 because it's so light weight.
If you like the foam which eggs will be pack with, we are taking orders, they are $2 each plus shipping (parcel). For 10 piece it's around $8- $10 depending on your zip. 20 piece shipping price will run about $12 - $15, again it depends on your zip.
PM me if you're interest in the foam. We are taking orders. Thanks for looking.

Are the holes already in the foam? Is it perforated so you can pop out more holes as needed? I'd like some eggs, but I hate getting just 6! And I need the foam....Thanks!

We usually send more eggs as the bids go higher, this auction comes with 4 folyfoam. The holes are pre-set, small eggs you lay side ways, larger eggs you insert it, you just pull out the cylinder/plug, cut to size to fit your eggs, the foam is flexable bit gives, it will hold the eggs in place and space between them is enough to withstand shock so that they would harm each other. You can wset the foam upward so that airsack is on top. All this being said, if the box get drop or roughly handled, eggs will still be intacted (unless had a hairline crack already) but airsack could be broken and it will not develope.
We think this is by far the easiest and the most secure way to ship eggs. There are many old timer that can ship eggs their way and does a fantastic jobs, but it take time/experience, this is the MOST EASY & SAVE TIME method. Try it, see for yourself. Shipping for 10 foam (eah foam holds 6 eggs) US parcel is $10, 20 foam shipping is $14. Polyfoam is $2 each. Foam is reusable.
Thanks for looking.

With eggs being generally smaller at the bottom and larger on the top...what is to keep the eggs from sliding out the way they went in if the boxed is droped on its side or heave forbid upside down? I mean the monekys in the post office toss boxes around like baseballs.

I am liking the idea of these polyfoams though.

I personally saw them kick it like a football before.
The plug will hold the eggs in the place/holes but you do need tape over the plugs.
You cut the plug according to your egg size, but the pre-cut holes is for small to medium size eggs to lay side ways, as for large eggs, you just insert them with either small or large end in.

This material we use is soft but flexable. First you pull out the plugs, cut the plug to 3 pieces, remember the center piece is the size of your egg & will be replace with your egg. I plug one end of all 6 holes with one piece of the cut foam, insert or lay the eggs depending on their size, top with the other cut piece, now your eggs are in the foam cover with cut piece of the foam on both end to protect the eggs. Than wrap the tape around it. The whole procces takes 3-4 minutes. With this material, eggs do not rock/move around, you secure/hold it with the plugs on both end. The top picture shown what it looks like with a small egg laying on it's side, the bottom picture shown it can also be use for ship 12 eggs in one foam by insert 2 eggs in one hole - this only will work for bantam or pullet eggs, again, this double stack need a foam or other material to protect the eggs on both side of the foam where eggs are exposed.
