I just realized my 7th chick has silky feet & skin but no feathers on them. Or maybe they were still wet & sticky and just coulsn't be seen yet. Hmmn. And now I'm at work and can't check again

I have another one that piped last nite. I guess my daughter put an egg in there that I did not know about.

about the feather feet I can see the feathers on them after they hatch.

maybe yours can still get em.

I think my chick with silky feet is a cross. Not sure since she is one of the mystery eggs. Will know more later, hopefully.



More eggs for the bator? I still have 3 more hatches to go. Welsummers, and 2 sets of mille fleur d'uccles.
