I will love chick 8? more than the others? I am very interested in finding out what he/she looks like as an adult.

Chick 5 is very motherly, she/he tends to hang out with the little babies, I have caught him/her on more than one occasion with his/her wings spread out over the babies, nestled down in the corner at night..

Chick 8 will be a silver duckwing in color. But, looking at that comb I may be wrong, chick 8 just might be a boy and be golden duckwing w/columbian.

If Chick 8 grows to have ANY color in the shoulders/wings - Boy. If not - Girl.

3 is a definite girl

4 is likely a girl

Chick #9 might be a boy but I am finding that I am terrible with the pea combs and figuring out what is a girl and what is a boy. I would help with the Brahmas, but I am having a terrible time figuring out mine as well.

I think I have finally figured out my dark Brahma chicks but the lights and the one buff I have I go back and forth on.

Guesses-

#1-?
#2-?
#3-Girl
#4-Girl
#5-Girl
#6-boy
#7-?
#8- ?
#9- Boy?

Chick 3,4,and 5 came from a breeder not TS and he said that they were sexed pullets. He had 2 brooders of chicks one with roos and one with pullets- I am not sure if his guess were acurate or not, but it is sounding like they might be...

I have been leaning towards male with chick 8 for quite some time, with every noise, he/she chirps loudly and stretches his/her neck way out, whereas most of the other crouch down and scatter.

's while waiting...Very curious about the Brahmas...

attempted crowing in the brooder containing chicks 3,5,8,and 9. As well as 2 GLWs(2 weeks old) 6 Golden Comet pullets( just under 1 week) and 6 White leghorn pullets(also just under 1 week)...

It sounded kinda high pitched like art ta rrrrr....

The mystery continues....
