Hello!
Anyone have any thoughts as to why my 6 week old roo is panting?
I was also not sure his poo looked normal. Here is a pic
Let me know what you think!

thanks,
Kristen

Not necessarily struggling but yes panting and seems hot air coming out of mouth and fast respiratory rate. I do have him inside (planning to put him out with others on Monday). I took him out of cage and he also feels hot body temperature wise. It wouldn’t make sense to me if the brooder was too hot because I have hardly any heat on them at this time. But questioning fever?? Really not sure.
Thanks for your reply :)

He might just be sick. Maybe try giving him some electrolytes if you have any. Or actually I think if he is lethargic then some sugar water might help him a little. Sorry. I think keeping him inside and doing what you are already doing is good. It does sound like he has some sort of fever. Hopefully he pulls through and gets better.
