Hi all, I’d really appreciate some advice with my 6 wk old BR chick. I noticed a lump in it’s vent yesterday night and took some pics. I checked again this afternoon and it seems to have gotten better although the vent is still puffy.

Last night, there was a large round lump in the vent. It was somewhat squishy (not fluid filled though). I could push it in but it seemed to pop out again straight away. I was thinking maybe a prolapse?

This morning, I can’t feel that round lump anymore. The “before” pictures (first 2) don’t show the lump well, as it was hard to hold the camera, the chick, and gently press the vent so it would protrude.

The chick doesn’t have any other symptoms although it was just a tiny bit subdued last night.

Should I just wait and see if it continues to get better, or administer some treatment?

Thanks for any advice 🙂

Put some hemroid cream on it see if it clears up. What's her poop look like? And how old
