6 week old chicks moved outside this evening

And they are crying and carrying on like crazy!!!! They have been in a too small brooding pen in the garage for a week and half to 2 weeks now. We fashioned a grow out pen next to the "big girls' " run and put them in it just before dark and now they are freaking out!!! Is this normal?

its all new and their world has just expanded and the first time this happened to me the chicks would 'nt come out of the nesting boxes for 3days. My current brooding pen part a a extra large dog crate. The top part so they can see out of it. And get use to things outside.

They'll be fine try not to worry. I just put mine in the new coop I just finished and am nervous and scared that their not going to be ok. I'll find out when I get home in about 20min.s I'll let you know.
