I have some 6 week old chicks that are questionable in their gender. They are half buff brahma, 1/4 orphington and 1/8 jersey giant and 1/8 easter egger. One has white legs and is bigger than its sibling. One has yellow legs. I threw in a pick of their parents.

Leg color is not sex dependant. It is recessive though and requires both locations to express. Which means the Buff Brahma was carrying a yellow skin gene.
