6 week old Chocolate & Lavender Orpington and 10 week Lavender Orpington

This is the "choc Orp" who I was just told is a GL Orp lol. Excuse the mess, they're still inside as the grow out pen was occupied and being cleaned out as we speak...

Both the Lavender and the Gold-laced appear to be pullets. I don't see any Chocolate or patterned Chocolate Orpingtons.

Oops, yes - she was suppose to be a chocolate but we were given a gold laced instead . I keep inserting choc out of habit in hopes she'll change . We still love her. Thanks for the pullet vibes

lol Well I have Silver-laced Orpingtons that I love and am growing up some Lavenders to try to make Lavender-laced Orpingtons in the nest year or so. I'm still hunting for some nice pure Black and Black/Blue/Splash Orpingtons in order to have pure Black for outcrossing on the Lavender and the BBS to make a laced Orp there too. Some of the SL breeders have been hatching GL chicks or like me chicks that hatch out GL and then express SL feathers. You should check out the Orpington thread:

We lost our buff around Easter, she was by far a fave and very missed. Fell in love w the lavender and found a breeder who had a variety - it was a complete oversight that we got the gl instead of choc, but she's too cute regardless, thankful she's a she lol.

I will check out the other thread, love the orps!!
