Why is Simparica Trio always expensive (6 months supply cost over $140)? And will there ever be an inexpensive generic version available in the future?

I wish that's what ours was.

These two get Interceptor Plus and Credelio. $184 total for each dog every 6 months. Two different vets agreed due to the border collie having Lyme's twice and the Corgi once. They were both vaccinated and still got it.

That's not that expensive. That's $23.33 a month to protect your dog from heartworm and practically every other parasite out there.

Simparica Trio protects dogs from fleas, heartworm disease, and intestinal parasites, including roundworms and hookworms. also kills five types of ticks, including the deer tick that can transmit Lyme disease. The product is an FDA-approved, once-monthly chewable that also prevents flea infestations and flea tapeworm infections by killing fleas before they can lay eggs.

I'd say that's pretty cheap!

I use a bug spray that I make at home that is safe for my dogs and myself! It keeps away mosquitoes, fleas and ticks! I spray it on my hands and rub it in their fur! Its all natural and I make sure the essential oils I use are organic and the witch Hazel is alcohol free.
