6 week old RIR-cockerel or pullet?

This chick is going to a different home, but I'm curious if this looks like cockerel to any of you. It's waddles are turning red already, most of the others are not.

Far easier to tell gender on an older or free standing bird. Sometimes early comb development occurs in pullets so this may very well be a pullet. It is too early for male secondary sex feathers to be present.

Agree with sourland. It's too early to tell with the present photos. A full body profile and comb/wattle pictures in a week or two would work best.

Ok, thank you. They will be going to a new home this week, so I was just curious if I was right, lol.

Looks like a pullet at the moment, but i would wait a week or two.

Leaning toward cockerel, going by the wattle development more so than comb.
