6 week old standard cochin

Here are some pics of my cochin baby. She, i hope, was born on my birthday!!!!! 6 weeks old. I am sooooooooooooooooooo hoping for a girl. Her name will be Libby as she was born on Labor day!!!!!

Yeah- looks a little rooish, but that's not set in stone. I LOVE my cochin roos- I have at least 9 right now

I have a Black Bantam Cochin who's comb was starting to get red at a very young age. I thought mine was a roo until she started laying. You may still hold some hope for a hen.

A friend of mine hatched the chicks. The eggs were from my aunt. I have 2 chicks and she has 3. One of hers has a very red and larger comb than this one. The other chick I have is a cochin mix and I think it is a girl.

I will just have to wait a little longer. Thanks for the responses.
