I have a cute little 6 week old hen, she is one of 7. All are healthy, as is she. Eating normally, acting normally, running around, scratching, etc. But today I noticed she has a poopy butt. Her vent looks alright, but under it her feathers are dirty with dried poop. YUCK. They are on medicated chick feed and whatever weeds and bugs they get in the run. They also get cider vinegar in their water, and a pinch of red pepper flakes in their food every day. I also feed all of them a plain fat free yogurt snack about 3 times a week. Is there any other thing I could do for her? Would you clean up her butt? She is kind of flighty, so I think it will be a 2 person job.
