No, you can tell quite early what gender a bird is. Only in certain circumstances, like a particularly difficult Silkie, would you have to wait that long. Well... she's FAR from laying age, darn it.Well, 95 percent? It's pretty obvious. Pronounced comb, and it's pink/red. Females of is breed has very small combs that don't really get any color until they start laying.
