This was the first chick to hatch. The chick hatched from a Silkie egg. The chick is a Silkie mix.

This is so adorable. While neither silkies or buffs are my favorite chickens, the eye contact here is what makes the picture for me.

Thank you! I was sitting there wondering how to get the chicks to come out from under the mamas so I could get a picture when this little one popped out from under her. LOL!
