Hi everyone! I'd love your input on whether you think my EE is a cockrel or pullet. He/she, AKA Acorn, has me totally stumped.

Girl Girl Girl Girl :) (I'm not an expert but love to guess--and feel confident just from looking at the tail)

Also I think pullet bc of the arching tail feathers, very diminished comb and pale comb color, small legs!!!, wider than a roo's neck feathers. For sure girl!!!

Fantastic! Thank you all for your fast help! My others are all fluffy little things, and she looks to be more velociraptor than chicken, so I was getting nervous that she could be a he. Great news!

I totally relate to your desire to know ;) after hatching 9 eggs over quarantine--i feel like a chicken whisperer :) I've done so much research on sexing (I know it's still a guessing game but to me it's sometimes obvious worth other people's chicks--but not my own :) and we have 3 hens of different breeds that all crossed with our Americuana/EE so I feel a little more understanding of EE sex traits... Keep me posted.
