6wk old crowing in the bedroom upstairs

I'm praying for a break in this weather! 3' of snow in 3 days...yuk.

This little frizzle(not) cochin has been trying to crow since he was 4 weeks old. thankfully (?) DH is hard of hearing or I'd be in trouble.

I have a brooder cage set up in the barn, but just can't bring myself to transition them in this severe weather. Every morning I tell them "enjoy it! you're going out to the barn tonight!" they just laugh at me.

My daughter will be home from school this weekend. Her bedroom is close to the "brooder room". I can not explain to my children that I have crowing chicks in my house. I swear I hear the little roo laughing at me right now.

That's what we've been saying for a week about the 10 babies in our bedroom. Today they went out to the barn because I had one hatch in the bator and needed their box, lol. The weather is suppose to be nice till this weekend and then back down to the low teens. I'll have to add an extra heat lamp then.

Wish it would warm up and stay that way
