Hello friends!
My husband and I just finished constructing the outside of our chicken coop. The whole thing is 6x8x6 (maybe 7 feet high including roof) and is covered with hardware cloth (not chicken wire). The structure sits on top of a 6x8 "planter" where the bottom is covered in hardware cloth. Nothing is digging in! WOOHOO!

Next step is to build a nice raised nesting area, roosts, waterer and feeder. But here is our progress so far!

Oh ps: the building next to the coop is a garage, NOT someone's house! Haha

Pps: we want to get as many bantams as will fit comfortably inside!

Picture the nest box design you had being put in here, would something like that work?

Looks great very convenient having a power supply so close if you have hard winters like i do,consider having access to the nest boxes from the outside so you don't have to go in every day, tuned in for further progress.
