Chicken Noob: Buy a buildable pen/run for safety or continue predator proofing?

I agree with everyone else hardware cloth is the way to go. Also I know its tempting to see the way cheaper prices per roll in the higher gauge hardware cloth but it's worth shelling out for something 19 gauge or under. Above 19 guage you can break with your bare hands, a predator will have zero problem with breaking through as well. Happy building!
