@Overo Mare I’ve looked up pictures and it looks like Puzzle is definitely a Cinnamon Queen! At an Ugly Duckling stage for sure but the adult hens look rather nice.

It does draw into question my 3 positive breed identifications. I’d been working with the assumption that I had been sent a “colored layer assortment” because so many of the chicks were Easter or Olive Eggers. However, the label on their box actually said “Hatchery Choice Egg Layer- Female”. Neither of these assortments are what I actually ordered, Production Pack (white and brown layers). I have one all black chick who could be anything in their catalog now.

Oh well, as I said they’ll all be grow out regardless. They’ve been so much fun to watch grow. Happy accident for sure.
