7 Day Candling. No Fertile eggs?

So here is the situation. For a week I would take my Jersey Giant and Faverolles Roosters and stick them with their corresponding hens for a few hours each night. Reason I did this is I don't have enough hens to roosters per breed and I don't want my ladies getting hurt.

So one week straight, every evening, they were with their ladies. 2 faverolle hens and 3 jersey giant hens.

I collected eggs for 10 days. Starting on day one of their roosters being rotated in with the hens. The last 3 days they didn't have the roosters with them.

I stored the eggs in a cold storage room which reads about 65F. Humidity is around 70%.

I Calibrated my incubator for over a week until I found the right spot. It is a hovabator with forced air.

I decided to try the dry hatch method. I kept humidity in the incubator between 25% and 40%

My thermometer is a digital thermometer with a probe. I used the ice water method to see how accurate the thermometer is. At 32F it reads 35.1F. So 3.1F high That means to 99.5F is 102.6F on my thermometer.

For the last 7 days it has been between 102.4 to 102.9. I always adjust if I see it high or low. I haven't had any spikes.

I use an Egg turner.

From everything I see that I'm doing, I don't believe anything wrong has been performed.

When I candled my eggs, which are cream color to brown, I only see yoke movement floating around. One egg I see what I believe to be a light ring.

I used a cardboard can with a tin shine inside. I cut a hole in the lid and a cut in the side of the can to slip a light in. I placed tinfoil underneath the plastic lid to focus the light more. My lightbulb is a 100w bulb. It is very bright. I only let the eggs on it for a few seconds to get a glimpse.

I haven not seen any veins or embryo development. No air sacs. Actually if anything it seems like the air sacs are on the wrong side of the eggs and move around a little.

Do I have rotten Infertile eggs? Is it possible my roosters never did anything when they were with their ladies for a few hours every evening for a week?

I would love some input please.

Thanks.

By evening , do you mean when they were roosting? If so, they will not mate on the roost. Mine are more active in the morning and before they go to the roost at night. But my rooster goes to the roost earlier than most of the hens.

Oh yes another thing I forgot. I do have multiple thermometers. I even have another thermometer I ice water tested. It is a regular bulb thermometer. It reads .5 f low. It reads around 98.8 to 99.2. So that would be 99.3 to 99.7f. My temps aren't off.

I would put them with the hens when I get home from work around 4 pm. They are out and about eating and scratching well until about 7:30 8pm. But I could try the morning. Just means I'll have to get up around 4 am so I can have the extra time to move them. They are up then anyways. But then the roosters will be with the hens all day. I don't know if that is to much activity. I could try alternating days and see if that helps. This is great advice. Maybe my roosters are to lazy in the evening. They do most of the crowing in the morning.

Thanks. I think this may be the answer.

Anymore input from others will be great though. The more the better.
