So 3 of mine have externally pipped today

I have 8 as well but only 3 so far cracked, hoping they’ll be out by the time I get home tonight. How long do i leave them in before getting them out to feed and give them water ??

I wait until they are completely dry, leaving them in the incubator for up to 24-48 hours.
I always move at least 2 at a time so they have a buddy in the brooder.
Like to leave on in bator to cheer on the others yet to hatch, unless the chicks get too rowdy or pecky.

Every time I hatch chicks I remember how impatient I am. Why do they take so darn long?!

I have just got back and I have 3, one has a bit of membrane dried to it’s eye so hoping to get that out tomorrow and try to sort it, any advice for this ?
