We have 4 hens that are about 18 weeks old. Two days ago we found our first eggs! There were 7! I assumed that all hens had laid. Yesterday and today we've only found 1. I know its the Rhode Island Red that laid the single eggs. (we also have a buff orpington, light brahm and a wyandotte) I didn't think that all 4 hens would lay an egg for the first time on the same day. I also don't think one hen can lay 7 in one day! I don't think I have anything to worry about. I just find it strange and was wondering what some chicken experts might think. (and if I do need to worry let me know) Thanks!
