Thanks everyone, I just got home today and my little golden chick has blood on her feathers. Looks like it coming from her new feathers. I'm so worried, I don't see any other wounds.

Thanks everyone, I just got home today and my little golden chick has blood on her feathers. Looks like it coming from her new feathers. I'm so worried, I don't see any other wounds.

Is she actually bleeding or is the blood just dried on there? I would get a warm washcloth and wipe it away. If she continues bleeding, separate her from the other chicks so they don't peck her.

She is currently separated from the others. There is blood inside her feather shaft, it looks like a couple of feathers are affected. The blood is dried on top of her feathers and she is not bleeding right now. I tried to post a picture but it didn't work.
