My brahmas that hatched at the beginning of this year haven’t layed eggs yet and the roosters haven’t crowed yet ? They’re 7 months old now.... just wondering why

Are you sure they are males? I know it sounds like a crazy question but I've replied to posts asking a similar question and they roo in question was a hen. And it doesn't seem too late for a cockerel to start crowing either.

They were on grower till two weeks ago, Im housing my RIRs with them at the moment and they’re on layer
Everyone can stay on that grower if it's non medicated. Just add a separate bowl of oyster shells for the calcium needs. Layer isn't necessary.

Oh they’re definitely males :D
There’s 3 of em, twice the size of the hens and their combs and wattles are big and red. Saddle and hackle feathers are present as well, 2 blue buff Columbian and 1 partridge .

Suppose it’s cheaper, only problem is Id have to drive 1hr to get oyster shells.
I’ll see if I can buy online

Well do what's best for you. Lots of ways to feed. You still should always offer extra oyster shells if possible.

With your Description would definitely say males. Everyone crows at their own pace. My last silkie rooster started crowing about a month later than the other roosters. He stil doesn't crow as much as the others.

I heard my golden partridge Brahma cockerel prince crow for the first time today... I also saw him trying to mount the hens..
