Last week we lost a duck and a BR hen. I found feathers of the duck but not the hen. We assumed it was eaten. Tonight I went to lock up the chickens and the count was short 1. I started looking around with no luck. Finally I spotted the hen dead under the coop. After looking under the coop I spotted the other hen we lost last week way in the back under the coop. I retrieved the 2 hens and inspected. The is no evidence of predators. They look like they might have died of old age. What is killing my girls? They are all 7 months old. They all looked healthy. Can it be worms maybe? Ive never wormed them. Please help I only have 5 BRs left.

Not age for sure. How do you mean way back under the coop? Keep checking...you have to be missing something. Can't think they just drop dead too often. Here is a bump up for you so maybe someone else has an idea.
    ETA: Snake?
