7 months old and not laying yet.

I have a 7+ month old Easter egger that is not laying yet. Do I have a problem child or is she just slow to get started? Her sister gives me about 3 a week.

She's just a late bloomer. Chickens are individuals, just like we are. I didn't start at the same time as my 4 sisters either

easter eggers tend to start laying late but they keep their production up for the rest of their life. give her another 2 weeks and i will b willing to bet you will get a egg...

I have been told not to expect much till the days start to get longer. I am not gonna try to start them by putting a light for them I am afraid of fire.
