7 months old and not yet laying eggs

I have 4 buff Orpingtons and 1 black australorp. I got them from Hoover’s when 15 weeks old on June 17. They are very happy chickens but have not started laying. Big coop, big run, and free range about 3 hours a day. Should I be concerned? Thanks

I’m willing to bet they are laying their eggs while free ranging try removing that from their day and planting some fake eggs in their nesting boxes. Give them one to two weeks in the run only with coop access and watch what happens

However if you got them in June they are only 3 months old not 7. And if that’s the case they are still too young to lay eggs

In June they were 15 weeks old, so they would be 7 now.

Ah yes thank you, I had some head trauma recently and I’m still not up to par haha, in that case I stand by my previous statement lol
