After searching the posts on sexing chicks, I'm pretty sure I have at least two Roos (lighter/silvery colored barred rocks) and one hen BR (since she's darker and her comb is not red yet.

The other one, I'm not so sure about. These hatched out on April 22nd, and from the posts on sexing young chicks i've thought all along it's a hen. Her legs have a green tinge, any ideas on sex and or breed?

thanks!
Sara

i don't know the breed of the unknown one but it looks like a roo and you have 2 roos and a hen with the BR's.

Thanks guys! Bummer about ??. S/he is so unique and pretty. I REALLY hoped it was a hen. Oh well, at least I got one hen out of the bunch. The BRs are pretty easy to tell.

Well the roos have a nice place to go so they'll be leaving shortly. NO idea on possible parents for ??. So anyones guess is as good as mine. The eggs came from a farm nearby, I didnt have roosters previously since i live in the city.
