Hi,
My chicks are 7 weeks old. They have went through a 50 lb. bag and 2 - 20 lb. bags of starter/grower feed. I still have a good bit of the starter grower left of the 2nd 50 lb. bag. Can I mix this with the grower/developer feed when they reach 8 weeks? After that, when do I change to layer feed? Wait until they start laying? Yes, I am a newbie at this, we had chickens when I was a child, but always had a mother hen taking care of them. I just want to make sure I get this right. I want to take the best of care of them, I am already very attached! 9 Buff Orpingtons, 4 Buff Rocks, 1 Golden Laced Polish.
