So, as many posts I have read, these were all bought as pullets. I have 2 of each, speckled Sussex, Colombian Wyandotte, Plymouth barred rock and gold star. I’m pretty certain one of speckled Sussex is a roo. I’m concerned about one of the Wyandotte and barred rock. I’m new to chickens and these are my only 8. If 3 are Roos, I’m gonna hate giving them away but know it will be necessary for hens sanity. Course I’m partial to the Sussex so he may stay! I don’t know! Thanks for the help in advance!

You can see all but the one speckled Sussex in this picture, but I’m pretty sure she’s a pullet. I believe both gold stars pullets? I was concerned with the one being more white.

I’m so sad! :( At what point do I need to remove them? So I’m assuming pullets combs turn red much later?

The interior of your coop is so cute!!

You should remove the boys before they are mature (around 5 months). Sooner is better. Pullet's combs turn red anywhere from 14-26 weeks, when they start nearing point of lay.

2 different feed stores... I got 4 and 4... one I got 2 outta 4 cockerels...the other 1 outta 4... ugh
Terrible luck, then. I was thinking if you ordered from a hatchery, you might be able to get some sort of refund.

Strange, I realized you had more than 6 total and edited my post, but I guess not quite fast enough.
